damn update to 1.48

I didnt want the god damn thing, as i never asked for it. It angers me mightily that this happens. Is there a way i can go back to 1.47. I spend most of my time using Promods maps etc

Had about 170 mods installed. At least the half of it, and as good as every of my essential mods, are not working anymore since today.

ProMods, RusMap, Eurafrica, Ukraine Expansion, Poland Reworked,...
And of course aaall my favourite trucks I am driving daily like the MAN F2000, the Mercedes SK,...

SCS literally destroyed my game today, it's unplayable now and I think for a long time because I dont't want to miss ANY of my now incompatible mods.

I hate it. I hate it so, so much.

Thank you for destroying my hobby AGAIN, SCS!

mahernehme has posted the solution/workaround. I got caught out by 1.48 last night, and remembered that these temporary version pins existed (probably because SCS are aware that people use a lot of mods). Set it to 1.47 temporary, Steam downloaded about 2Gb worth of stuff, and then my mods were working again.

So no, your game/hobby has not bee destroyed. Can the hyperbole, it would probably have taken you less time to apply the workaround than to post your screed.
