Hi,

I downloaded ProMods ETS2 2.67 today and have been really enjoying it so far.

Unfortunately, I have spotted a couple of bugs in the game. In Blönduós in Iceland, I came across a section of missing road surface, which I crashed into causing considerable damage to my truck and nearly fell through into 'space'. There are at least two sections of Highway 1 affected in Blönduós, but there could also be a third section. They seem to be at intersections.
I have taken some screenshots if you would like me to show you.

Kind Regards,
AJ

Hi ScuL,

No, I haven't installed Grimes' weather mods. I do have though DB Creations' realistic weather mod, do you think this is causing the issue too?

I was just about to update my original post to say that nearly or every intersection in Blönduós is affected by missing road textures.

Kind Regards,
AJ

Hello there,

Every mod could cause the problem. Please test if the bug is still reproduceable after you disabling all other mods except ProMods which is written clearly in the How to Report a Bug topic.

Best Regards,

Hi 30maes,

I have tested ProMods without any other mods, and that has fixed the error. So it was one of my mods then!

I'll start testing them all by removing the realistic weather mod from DB Creations, if Grimes' have issues, then DB Creations' may then too!

Sorry to hassle!

Kind Regards,

Some road & terrain textures got updated in 1.48.5 and they are not the same as they were in 1.48
Many different environment/weather mods are broken because of it

Okay, that's interesting! Hopefully then its just their weather environment mod that's the problem! Because I've found that DB Creations' mods really boost the physics of the base game.
I re-downloaded some of DB's mods as 1.48.x as ETS2 did crash in Germany after I installed ProMods and re-downloading them seemed to fix it. But some mods hadn't been changed since August so maybe these are the problematic ones...

Sometimes it's just a matter of mod authors updating their mods to the new version, but yes it is not recommended to use very old mods for this reason

Yeah! That's true! Hopefully DB update some of their mods to the latest version. I have their realistic truck physics mod, and that is one of them that hasn't been changed since 08/08/2023, so this could be another potential candidate too...

Thanks for your help :-).

Update: I have been able to pin-point the mod causing the texture issue.

It is DB Creations' Real Traffic Intensity & Behaviour mod. But specifically, the file for SCS' map, it comes with a file for Custom maps (not sure if that means ProMods) as well, but that doesn't fix it as it was active at the time.

Ah well, one I really liked but at least it wasn't my Jazzycat traffic packs! Maybe DB will come out with a version for ProMods....
