Cruising The Balkans - Road to the Black Sea event compatiblity?

Has anyone tried using ProMods 2.67 for the Road to the Black Sea portion of the Cruising The Balkans - Road to the Black Sea event on World of Trucks?
I was thinking because there's less ProMods modified areas in that DLC that it might be feasible for at least some routes.

Update: I managed to deliver from Târgu Mureș to Iași with ProMods enabled and it counted towards the event.
