IRL you get a route from the authorities if you have an oversized load
For eg high reefers (4.20 m) you need to pay attention and have the office create a route you can't depend on the GPS period

I don't get this conception people have that the High Power Cargo Pack is somehow a pack comprised of Oversized cargo. It's not. The 'Wide Tractor' is barely bigger than the Vanilla Bulldozer, which is only marginally shorter than the Yacht. The other loads in the pack are smaller than the trailer they're on.

I understand not supporting the Jazzycat's irresponsibly oversized trailers, but these are Official content.
Curry?! My manual doesn't have any data on curry... What's the meaning of this...?!

I did some research and I stand corrected. Technicalities ho!

Every trailer/load taller than the Globetrotter XL cab without the body flaring (which is 3.930m high when mounted on a High 6x2 chassis with factory 315/80-R22.5 tires according to Volvo Trucks Australia.) is oversize everywhere except:
  • Finland (4.2m)
  • France (No Limit, but overpasses are generally built to a minimum of 4m)
  • Ireland (4.65m)
  • Sweden (No Limit, but overpasses are built to a minimum of 4.5m)
    And
  • The UK (No Limit, but overpasses involving Motorways are now built to a minimum of 5.3m. Historically, it has been 5.0m. All other overpasses can be lower than 5.0m, as long as they are signed in advance).
So... A number of the game's cargoes are oversized. The new tie-down side trailer (I swear it wasn't in 1.14) used for the Xmas Gifts loads is oversized, as is the aforementioned bulldozer. I'd compare it to more, but I ran out of loads in Rennes to compare to.

Point kind of still stands, this is an official cargo, all the Vanilla stuff was built to support it and the GPS can't adapt to cope or warn us about it. The offending bridges ought to be signed (oh Purno!) and marked on the map (Like a Petrol Station, Dock or Rest Area would be) or raised.

High reefers is 4.2 m!
Yes we need proper signage for height as IRL

Bridges should not be raised to support oversized stuff, ever
They should have approx the same height as IRL

Driving a truck is not just like going from A to B you need to be aware and know your limits just as IRL :D
The game is far too easy as it is currently
