Small info update:
We managed to solve the crash between Tirana and Durres in Albania (at least how it looks like now). But there is another problem with licence plates fonts ... something got changed in the versions and we are working on it, to fix that too - so we can give you the 1.46 compatibility update

if someone knows how to solve this new font system, please let me know

What kind of problem exactly do you have with the new font system?

The problem is what is mentioned in that print-screen with PM some time ago.
We successfully created that 1.44x file with SCS generator but somehow the result on the licence plates is not correct.
Also we have this error coming out:
<ERROR> [tobj] The file 'C:/Users/Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod/z3Project Balkans 5.1 - Assets (2).scs/font/license_plate/bosnia_0.tobj' has incorrect version - found 2070616d, expected 70b10a01.

right now we are somehow wandering in the darkness with no real solution

@grega do you have the most recent versions of Blender and conversion tools? See here for some info (it's an old post, but it might be a hint for a possible solution).
