How to add farm fields?

Hello,

Sorry I don't have access to take a screenshot at the moment so I will try to describe this as best I can.

In the ETS2 map, you can sometimes see patches of farmland. (The ones that are usually accompanied by hay stacks on them).

I wanted to add one of those to my map, but I can't seem to figure out how. I checked the item properties of a road that has this farmland next to it, and strange enough, the texture just said "grass_main.mat"! So apparently these farm fields are separate from the terrain texture, but I do not see any additional nodes on the map that could be for these farm fields.. so they can't be a model either.

That is why I am confused XD

Could the Bezier Patches have anything to do with this?

you can do it by using the brush tool. Just find a texture that fit the description to a farm field. Just remember that the brush tool only works on road terrain, not prefab terrain.

Yes, you have to use the brush tool for this and yes, this only works on terrain linked to road and terrain nodes (and bezier patches). The brush tool can be found by selecting it from the object manipulation menu or by pressing "B".

FYI the farm field texture is dry_grass
