I don't know, I didn't think this through. It's clearly not my job.

An IRC or a teamspeak would be pretty cool I think. Can bring a community closer together. Great place to chill and talk to like minded people!

Biggest problem would most likely be moderation - either someone would have to be monitoring the chat at all times or an approval-only system would have to be implemented
Personally would prefer the second variant

IMO a chatbox would be great, however managing a chat on a forum with 170 000+ members is quite a challenge

Make it donator-only? That way, people have to put in the effort of money to join the chat. Oh, and a requirement of one to two donation stars to join.

Who's 'we'?

We already have the roadhouse, which has been designed for non-sense talk

We don't need a chatroom for that, it will be impossible to maintain and moderate such chatroom.


In this case 'we' is the community

I'd like to consider myself part of 'the community'.
