ProMods

As you may know already, TSM and MHA maps doesn't work with ProMods since both are incompatible with each other.

Only maps that work together with ProMods are Poland Rebuilding, Project Balkans, RusMap, EAA Brazil Map.

Hello again

Latest in the level 40 profile saga.

Again we tried to run PROMods on it's own with the profile and it crashed. then removed PROMods and installed latest RUSMap and all ok. Then just to rule it out installed PROMods again with RUSMap and it crashed again. Just to cover all the bases I updated the gfx driver (nVidia) and optimised ETS2 for the driver. Ran the level 40 profile RUSMaps/PROMods again but still crashed out. Removed PROMods and all ok with just RUSMap as previously.

Profile created yesterday runs ok with PROMods/RUSMap/Project Balkans installed. Only the Jazzycat packs still to install.

Looks like my level 40, 48 trucks/drivers, 14 garages, 60% plus of the map, 213 deliveries, 119,301km, 159 hours playing time character has to be sidelined if I want to use PROMods. S' e beatha chruaidh a th' ann!

That's really strange that it crashes on your main profile... Never seen such problem with ProMods.
I have a different issue - when using my main profile with many mods, everything works fine. But when I use different profile without any mods except Scania 4 (which works on my main profile) it crashes. No idea how it's possible.

Anyway, I can't help. No idea how to fix such issue...

Maybe lewis' profile is corrupt...

Aaaawwww, my poor profile! And it seemed such a nice profile too. Nice to it's mother, gave to the sick etc.

You can use Cheat Engine to cheat your level back to 40

Refuse to use cheats, I'll build up the profile again. Got plenty of time.

I have 48 level in 3 years so... I play few other games too, ofc. Your decision if you have so much time

Anyways, sometimes these just happens, that your main and high-level profile corrupts... It's pretty sad, but I'm glad a few people are keeping their hopes high to start a fresh profile and level it up!

If I may, I offer these words of advice. Never, and I do mean N E V E R, change map mods on the same profile. You are only begging to have issues with a corrupted profile.

Instead, establish separate profiles for each map mod combination. For example, I have these profiles available to choose between:

1. Vanilla (ETS2 + both DLC)
2. ProMods + Poland Rebuilding + RusMap
3. MHA + RusMap
4. Hungary (stand-alone)

I use the "Vanilla" only as a sanity check to verify that there's nothing wrong with the base program. I will create a new profile as needed for testing any single mod I want to evaluate, to ensure it has no issues before I'll trust it in any of my real profiles...
