I use - xBox One controller (much more better then xBox360 that I used previously)
Funny thing is - I don't own any xBox console
What controller do you use for ETS2?

Mom says to son.
Hey son - can you go to the shop and buy the milk, if they have eggs - buy six.
Sure.
Son goes to the shop and buys six packs of milk and goes back home.
Why did you buy six packs of milk?
Because - they had eggs. And you told me to buy six - if they had eggs.

Good old Logitech Momo Racing Wheel , make his job in scs games since 5 years now
I use a cheap Trust GXT27 steering wheel.
I already have it for around 3 or 4 years and sometimes it can be extremely annoying. When driving, it all of a sudden starts to act like if you were turning it to the right (though you don't) for several seconds and that happens pretty often.
I need to calibrate it everytime I start the PC and very often it detects the X axis from -127 to 50 or so, which makes calibrating impossible before you reconnect the USB to the PC several times.
So it's better than driving with keyboard, but definitely not amazing as you may think

Zelva, you would be so happy (like me) if you would have G27
