Hey everyone,
I have recently started a massive map project for ETS2 and would like some help getting started. We currently only have the one map editor and he can only work on the map in his spare time, as he has a job. I'm highly interested in learning how to start a map (I know how to set up the files and folders etc), what exactly should I start with? A road? A prefab? I need to know this as we would only like dead-end roads when it is needed. Could anyone help me out with the basics of starting a map by starting up a TeamViewer online meeting session so I can observe what is best to do first? Thanks

When do you think the ProMods devs have time? We all do this in our spare time too
There are a lot of tutorials on YouTube, and on this forum you can use to learn modding/mapping

Some say, I'm addicted to ETS2. But then I say. No, it's ProMods, it's a way of life.

Yeah I understand, of course they're busy
I've browsed YouTube, these forums and numerous other sites but none of them really mention on what you should start with. Whether it be a country road or the centre of a city. Road or prefab, you don't know. That's why I was hoping somebody would be able to setup a TeamViewer meeting session so I could observe how to correctly start a map

It's for sure best to start with a country road or a piece of highway you know from real life to become familiar with the editor.
