Re: when downloading the Split archives Warning
Zippyshare is very good for being a free host, however some people may find that it's a pain to click through all the banners and additionally, you will have to combine all the separate files. It's easier in 1 download. The paid download server is probably under a lot of stress when we announce new...

Re: when downloading the Split archives Warning
<snip> Hm, no, we spend £250 on the server and looking to upgrade to double the cost to make it faster for everyone plus individual Zmodeler licenses for our 3 modelling @ £50 a head, and additional software for some of us.. so we do have genuine costs and the 60p is only the value of a can coke in...

Re: weight scales
so Nico how much weight is considered overweight in Europe? Depends on the vehicle and it varies by country, but, generally speaking, for your average 5 axle articulated lorry (4x2 tractor, 3-axle trailer) the limit is 44 tons gross weight. Which I assume to be metric tons, because that is not spec...

Re: Pro mods 1.61 crash
<snip> If you don't like the porn on zippyshare, please complain to them. This is btw the first time I have ever heard someone complain about this. To be fair, though, finding the link which will actually download the intended file instead of the iLivid and PCTuneUp crap, on sites like zippyshare, ...

Re: Q&A Can you please include company XYZ?
If you want to make all kinds of truck factories, please make a DAF factory near Rotterdam or more to Brussels, because that is Brabant, the ''homeprovince'' of DAF. The Flemisch and Dutch Brabant provinces, nowadays, are related in name only (there's the little matter of our independance, now over...

Re: Promods Progress Chart [2014-02-22]
That's indeed not part of ProMods, as far as I know. Probably Scout to Skoda rebadging by GameFixesv1.x mod which is broken with v1.9. This is now part of GameEssentials mod, version 3.0 I believe, but don't quote me on that.Nico wrote:I dont recall a skoda plant being there in version 1.52

[Fixed] [#41] [1.61] Amsterdam, Hofer company issues
Don't know if this is an oversight or an unwanted effect, but I made a duhlivery to Hofer Amsterdam (according to the job description) yesterday and, when I got there, I was met with a standard Kaarfor yard. There was an outline for the trailer and the game rewarded me for the job, so no problems th...

Re: broken files
We barely make any money on that.... My thoughts exactly... you guys could, imo, easily double or triple that $1,- number and still get just as many people using the "non-free" option. Or at least include a "donate" option in the transaction, because, for people like me, who can...

Re: Password protection!!!
Not much to add either, just that, at the bottom of every forum page it says ProMods is distributed under a "Restricted-NonCommercial" licence. I don't understand how OP could have assumed their propriety assets could actually be considered "public domain".
