I came across a very weird thing, of which nobody has reported. I was pulling a trailer loaded with tractors, from somewhere in England to Turku/Finnland. I took the Stockholm to Helsinki ferry. On the Helsinki end my trailer started to jump up and down and hitting my truck, damaging it. I detached the trailer immediately and drove away. Then I saw that the trailer had sunk halfway into the deck of the ship and was still jumping like crazy. I found an autosave just before entering the ferry. I took the ferry again but the very same thing happened again.
There was no way to save the situation, so I had to revert to the most recent usable autosave.
I'm using the latest version of ETS and Promods 1.6.2. There are no other mods installed.
Sorry I don't have any logs, only the attached screenshot.

I went to Helsinki in v1.61 and had no problems. Then again, I always completely park the truck (parking brake, neutral, engine off) on ferries. I don't know if that makes a difference. I'll test by taking another job there asap.

We lowered the ramp & boat to prevent overweight cargo getting stuck but the ferry node didn't move, as a result you are now spawned halfway in the boat.. this is the issue. Quickteleport with 0 - numpad keys & F9 also works.

Thank you. Though I didn't use it up untill now, I knew about the freecam. I did not know about this feature, though. I also didn't read your sentence correctly, so I didn't make the connection, apologies.

Numpad 9 = increase height
Numpad 8 = move forward
Numpad 5 = move backward
Note that you can "steer" your camera's position and change height by moving your mouse while holding either Numpad 8 or 5...
CAUTION: always return your "camera" to a position quite close to the ground, and pointed in the correct direction before pressing the F9 key to exit this mode!
