Trailer and Map pack are free and you can remove the trailer pack without your profile getting messed up.
You only get warning on loading that mods are missing, doesnt mean when you load that it crashes cause it doesn't.
You just have to ignore the warning on missing mods and load your profile/savegame and then you can play without the trailer pack if wished for
Under the 7 files of map to download for free is also the trailer pack link for free (at least on my side when i just checked to be sure)

Anyway, so the trailer pack is broken, is it just a visual thing? Because I've got the old one installed and not sure if I should remove it and use the new one, or remove it and not bother with the new but I'm unsure if this will corrupt my game or just leave the old in but again, unsure if the old one is compatible with new version of ETS2.
