SCS' next DLC

During the Squirrel's stream you stated that you are already working on the next DLC and such a things about it:

a) you won't need any other map DLC to play the next one
b) it won't be the rebuild of the existing territory
c) promods stopped working in that territory

The only possible place i can think of that are ok with all those three statements is Italy...

Italy doesn't fulfill the condition b). SCS already has part of Italy, like France before DLC.

I'm pretty sure during the stream every potential option was pinpointed towards the country we're all thinking off, but this remains speculation.

It could be Ireland, don't need a DLC to get there.

Same applies to the western Balkans. SCS could start Slovenia and it would connect to the other areas of the Balkans. Would also be connected to Going East but not necessary. But still no DLC required because it can be accessed through Italy and Austria.

DLC Italy seems likely as well but...who knows.

Those 3 locations are the only logical destinations. To build anywhere else you would require a DLC. This is all just speculation to get your brains thinking

I think SCS doesn't have much customers in Balkans so I don't think it is possible. I don't see any other options than Italy either.

why not Baltic states? to connect around Baltic sea.. no req dlc.. connection from Poland, but i preffer Vladzz version so.. better another location

How do you know SCS will continue working in Europe? What's stopping SCS from throwing a curveball and returning to work in the US - namely surrounding California and adding in Oregon as a state?

SCS has 2 teams of mappers. ATS ones and ETS2 ones. At least 5 years of support will be continued for ets2

I think it would be Romania, which fulfills all the requirements stated in that video.

Romania would require Going East. So definitely not Romania

It could be Iceland for all we know. I haven't seen much work from Promods going on in that area recently.

The only true place I can think of is Italy.
The old Italian territory has been improved in 1.26, so there will not be a rebuild of the existing territory (b). You need not any DLC to reach it (a) and the only reason ProMods is working on it is to merge ProMods areas in and around France with SCS' areas in and around the new rebuilt areas in 1.26 + Vive la France DLC.

I also thought of the Balkans, but ProMods is working there.
I also thought of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, but, even though ProMods IS NOT working there, you would need the GOING EAST! Dlc... Unless they included it in the main game.

I also thougbh of Iceland, but:
1. ProMods is still developing there.
2. The only connection to mainland Europe is a ferry to Hirtshals, in Denmark: Scandinavia DLC.
