Ooh I love when things become complicated. I must ask two things though; what is ABS? And what do you mean by other road? I'm reffering to Motorway as an Autoroute, Expressway as a route nationale, secondary road as a departmental road, and other roads as in-numbered roads. Is that what you mean?jasper wrote: ↑13 Jul 2017 09:42Hey , everyone!

I did use that website but I'm not sure how accurate it is as it conflicted with some other sources I had found for each country.CAPLV wrote: ↑13 Jul 2017 12:45http://ec.europa.eu/transport/road_safe ... its_en.htm (link for Latvia-english)

Hi Nathan,
To further explain what Jasper wrote, the speed limitS for vehicles is determined by the "priority-road" concept ( =big traffic roads).
That means a "route prioritaire" can be a RN or a D/RD and a RN is not necessarily a "route prioritaire" (in this case it generally ends up being declassified as D or RD- in my hometown ex RN88 is now RD988 .
Edit : The road lettering determines who takes care of maintenance

I didn't realise the French had such a confusing numbering system! So is what I have written on the French section correct now?JESAN wrote: ↑13 Jul 2017 17:54Hi Nathan,
