Missing tree textures

Never had this problem before; it appeared a few days ago. Anyone knows how to fix it? I am running 1.28 version of the game with Promods 2.20 and Rusmap 1.7.4, all DLC besides Italy.

Does that mean I can fix it by verifying the files through Steam? Or should I reinstall ProMods?

Try the first thing first, if it doesn't work try the second

Validating the game files did not fix the problem; do you know whether these specific tree textures were updated by ProMods? Might be worth checking before I re-download the entire package

That's what I also thought given the 'it' designation. I don't own the DLC however, and I am still running ProMods 2.20. I will try to update the game to latest version and then roll it back again to 1.28.

Edit: That also didn't work. Why is the game attempting to load trees that are part of the Italy DLC (and why do these appear everywhere, including in RusMap territory? Reinstalling ProMods also didn't solve the issue.

I fixed it; apparently it was a different mod (Fael Environment) that was updated automatically through the workshop and caused the incompatibility. Thanks for your help!
