Cool, glad to hear progress has been made so quickly.
Will look forward to getting grubby fingers on 1.70 in a couple weeks, or less we hope.
In the meantime I'll continue to catch up on John Wayne movies.
I just saw one where he blasted some guy in a shoot out with is six shooter and blasted away at least 18 times
without a single reload.
Now that is some shootin.
There was a truck but a horse was hauling it.
Update on ProMods 1.70
I watched the video of the beta version Promods 1.7 (by DaSquirrelsNuts)
Firstly, great job Team Promods , it's beautiful
Unfortunately, there are still some bugs on the map in the corners visited (a toll that does not work, invisible walls, flying cars ...)
Continue changes, we expect to drive on this beautiful map
For watch if you want http://www.twitch.tv/dasquirrelsnuts/b/554175658

Why DaSquirrellNuts has to show the new things of v1.7? Of all the testers of ETS2 that are around the web... you pick up the less serious.
About the delay in v1.70 release. If I have to wait a few weeks more to have a version without a bugs, I'll wait. First, because I'm moving to a new house, so I'm not using ETS2 right now and second, because ProMods deserves the wait.
The best or nothing.

What about DaSquirrellNuts is not serious? There are alot of other testers. He just streams what he's testing. There is nothing wrong with it. And now we get to see some of the new map. And what came out was that there still some problems with the update. And now we did see for ourselfs the map is not ready to be released yet.El_Boina wrote:Why DaSquirrellNuts has to show the new things of v1.7? Just my luck though!
I purchased ETS2 yesterday (2 days ago, considering it's past midnight) and only today (ehh, yesterday?) figured out how the different mods worked, and as my luck would have it, steam updated to 1.11 and the ProMod map isn't compatible
Anyways, take your time you need for bug testing, and happy holidays to the devs, not present!
You can drop back to 1.10.X quite easily in Steam. Right click the ETS2 game on your Steam and select "Properties"
You will be given a pop up box with 5 tabs at the top. Click the 4th Tab named "Betas"
In this Tab are 2 boxes, ignore the bottom one, it's the first we want to change.
Click the little drop down Arrow on the right of that little box and select "temporary_1_10_01_19 - 1.10.1.19 for incompatibility"
Close the box by clicking "Close" at the bottom.
Steam with then download the previous patch and sort your game out back to 1.10.X
Voila! You can now run ProMods 1.62 while waiting for 1.70 Enjoy!!

Why not search before making a post. It was already answered.
