Can't wait to explore Iceland again! Lovely work. Kudos for the comparison images, I really dig these.

That's still something I will have to decide on. But based on a little "experiment" I did keeping the snow may be quite difficult. None of the DLC assets have snow variants and all of the old Iceland assets are too outdated. So either there are buildings without any snow which would look a bit weird or I have to ask someone to add snow variants to (potentially) 100 or more assets. I don't know how long that would take, but it would certainly limit the options and variety in rebuilding. In addition the snow textures would need updating (Although this should really be done anyway).
A lot of people want it to stay so I will certainly try to do something with it.

I would just keep it in the Highlands, there is quite a bit of snow there falling even in Summer

Ah thank you, I spotted Seltjarnarnes but I missed Laugardalur. I'll fix it when I get the chance.

It will very sad to drive through iceland without snow and slippery roads. that is one of the things that makes that map so special and beautiful to drive.OfficialDOWL wrote: ↑22 Jun 2020 21:32But based on a little "experiment" I did keeping the snow may be quite difficult.

It'll still be there in 2.50, and quite possibly after that. If I can find a solution it may well stay for good.
