i would prefer option E, mostly because of a lack of great quality snow textures and assets, and with all the new DLC assets from the last few years i think an area as beautiful as the westfjords and the rst of northern iceland could only be done justice with the best available assets

I would vote option E, it can really improve that way. Maybe some snow patches here and there

Given the number of Es it's certainly not ruled out. But there are still a lot of people who want more snow to stay so I think it's unlikely unless an overwhelming majority vote for it.Audi1merc2 wrote: ↑27 Aug 2020 14:02Can the E option be ruled back in since many people are voting for it?

How about a mixture of snow and grass textures in the north. So that the snow looks half melted.
You know what I mean ?

I would prefer option E. It's not just consistency with the rest of the map but also with the amount of sunlight. I don't want to see snow when there's sunlight around the day where it's not realistic for the region. Snow is available through Grimes's winter mod anyway, which also changes the sunlight to correspond with winter.

C is great, D is nearly the same so it does not really matter for me, altough summer in the east could be interesting. I just like the thing that the north is snowy and the south is summer. This gives Iceland this special feeling, for beautiful summer only we can drive in Norway and Finnland already. Keep up with the great work, I am really happy to see Iceland being developed this actively again!
