Freeze with owned trailer only with promods

You can try to put this on LAUNCH OPTIONS to see if it will help

i tried to travel with owned trailer but without fret mission and my game is smooth, so it has nothing to do with trailers, it's the owned trailer missions that are the cause, supposition....

Okay i have the evidence that it's not my PC, on this video the guy has promods with a ownable trailer, and he has exactly same at 2:39.

and someone suggested to me to see with GPU and CPU monitoring if there is spikes when i have freezes but the line of the graphic is normal

can you move this thread in promods-bug for at least some research on the side of promods to be done ?

In your config.cfg enable the line

uset g_minicon "1"
If it's set to 0 just change 0 to 1.
You must also have "g_developer" set to 1.

Then you will get a mini console in the top of your screen showing performance statistics

@ScuL i've tested on the entire ringroad of london, without any trailer and with owned trailer but it doesn't matter where I am.

here is the result

Without trailer :

Tc : between 1 300 000 and 1 900 000

Dc : between 2500 and 3000

With owned trailer :

Tc : between 1 700 000 and 2 400 000 with some spikes to 3 000 000

Dc : between 2700 and 3500

then it's most likely caused by the owned trailer which is more intensive on the game engine then the normal one.
And since the trailers were made by SCS, there's nothing we can change.
It may not lag in SCS only for you because SCS has more strict limits on how high the TC and DC can go then we have.
So it's actually your hardware limiting probably than an issue with ProMods.

BRUH, so let's wait to a game optimization or change PC

but I think it's more up to SCS to optimize their game because it's from 2012 ETS2 and the graphics engine has changed very little, DX11 has increased the performance but they still haven't changed their anti-aliasing method because to have something correct you have to put the MSAA in ultra and the game at 300% while they could just put TXAA and that way you can keep the game at 100% and gain in performance. or integrate DLSS and DX12.

in 2020 it is not normal to put your game at 400% of its native resolution to have a clean image. This game is an fps killer

I have the feeling that you did not pay enough attention to this advice of citelis. according to your PC configuration and mods used you should not have any issues with owned trailers.
you should first remove any mods that generate errors in your gamelog then in the launch options you can remove the rdevice since the game dropped dx9 long time ago and add exactly this:

basically this will give you 20 memory buffers instead of only 5 that you have by default. max_resource_size 90 advise is too high since you do not have large textures, and 90 will only give you 11 buffers
also please pay attention that pool_size is 16000 not 1600 as this a huge difference (this must be half of your available RAM in Mb)

these are normal values, your PC should not have any issues with them ! I play with truly extravagant traffic and my DC value is never smaller than 9.000 and TC usually between 6 and 10 million. if I add a more demanding truck it even jumps to 20 million while I have still no FPS drop. only at 25 milion TC I feel some FPS drop in cities. all this with 400% scaling

I know I had these issues in the past and I am one who posted about this in SCS forum, but meantime I got a better PC and no longer noticed these micro freezes with the launch option rules enabled
