I downloaded 1.14 beta as soon as I got home from work but..... saved game couldn't load. I had ProMods as the possible mod to blame, so I even tried to edit the gamedata file to modify those "tiny_garages[]" array stuff myself, but didn't work. Disabling ProMods didn't work either, as the game just crashed (many errors on log, headquarters not found, etc...).
So I just decided to revert to official version. No DAF for me yet...
Now I'm somehow glad to read here that this version doesn't work with ProMods, because I have lots of mods installed, most of them related to trailers, but also a couple trucks, and I just hope... REALLY hope, that the loading issue is due to ProMods, so it just works when I update to 1.75 or whatever version... else, it will be a real headache enabling and disabling mods until I find the one causing it!

I tried 1.14 beta on my second profile, but thought it wasn't special enough to wait for a Promods update. So I'm waiting for the real 1.14, and Promods

I want to hear something about this beta release.
So, what is good about this beta 1.14 and what is bad? Also, I'd like to know what needs to be improved when the actual patch comes out?
Good things:
- The new DAF Euro6
- Liftable axles
- Speed limit is shows in truck GPS
Bad things:
- The AI doesn't seems to be improved at all
- The DAF don't have more powerful engines than the 510hp, IMO something like 600hp would be nice.
Needs to be improved:
- The AI!
All of those are completely my opinions so don't take them seriously! I came out to those things for about 3 hrs of playing with 1.14.0.3s.

DAF don't offer anything bigger than 510 IRL
I know that, but as i said in other topic, the torque curve isn't modeled correctly to this game so that's why the 510hp engine is "lazy"uk_daf_fan wrote:Very true
