I am experiencing a crash on the E8 road in Norway just before the Esso Fuel Station just before entering the town of Mosjoen. The coordinates below are as close as I can get to the crash location before it crashes.
I removed all mods and just the promods map mod on its own following the load order published on the forum in the compatible maps section.

Just after this location heading towards Mosjoen I get the crash just as I am approaching the fuel station.

It looks like possible corrupted game files.
Can you try to verify intergrity of game files in Steam with going to Properties for the game -> Local Files -> Check for errors in game files?

I tried your suggestion on validating files and I am pleased to say that the crash no longer happens after validating. Thanks so much for your help and I don't why did not think you try this first myself, well if I have any other such issues in the future I will try this first. I guess that you can mark this crash or issue as closed or solved.
