Well, the western Spain is not so bad after rebuild.. I think this guy should work for ProMods though..

Indeed, ZelvaCZ. zeppelin3 did a nice job on Spain and Portugal. The new landscape is very good made with many details.

There are only a few things about this new part of the map which I don't like:
-They kept all of the existing copy-and-paste-cities and only improved them a little bit, so that they still don't completely look like spanish/portugese cities.
-They didn't create realistic portugese toll booths and used italian ones instead.
-The signage isn't perfect, yet, as there are some signs without text or with a texture bug on them. But I'm sure that these signage mistakes will be corrected until the final version of the Portugal-Spain-rebuild is being released.

And there are two more things on the TSM which are quality wise good made and which I also like:

-Southern Italy by merlinita
-The modified parts of Germany by Harry Tuttle and allabouttrucksim

All the other parts of the TSM are in my opinion only middle to low quality.

I have a profile which uses TSM. I enjoy it very much but ....

I started to use the mod for Spain (I live in Madrid). It does capture the feel of Spain but is not realistic in some important ways.

For one thing just north of Madrid are some mountains which do not appear in TSM at all, not small by any means with a pretty long tunnel through the middle however there are some unusual looking hills or mountains just north of Valladolid which do not exist at all.

The road from Valladolid to Bilbao is down as the AP-1. The AP-1 does not go to Bilbao.

Valladolid looks nothing like it does in real life. Not even close.

I have kept that profile for Italy and Greece. Both very well done and a pleasure to visit.

One thing. It is easier on low end PCs I would think. Can't be sure but I do get the occasional FPS drop in Promod that I never have in TSM.

I know Promods uses a lot of details, and everything here is 1st time. Well this topic is already months and the latest version of TSM is TSM 5.3.1. Everyday TSM is improving. Though some parts of the map are copy and paste. What's quite interesting is that they are now starting to rework their map esp. in Spain. Umm.... I think in the next updates of TSM will include the whole rework of TSM map, and if it's true, then this would be very interesting. Why not if TSM will start working in Ireland and Head North like Promods did?

I think you are a bit too optimistic about the whole rework thing. I think for now, only Spain is reworked in TSM. Mind you that it took us quite a few months to rebuild just one third of Germany. And we are still not done with that!

I just don't bother with TSM nowadays. Promods is WAAAY better and it's much more realistic!
