I had and drove only 4 in line engines. And to be honest i think i have more chance to drive less cylinders than more in the future, it is "downsizing" time with more efficient turbos.

I've passed my driving license by Anticipated Learning Driving (Apprentissage Anticipé de la Conduite) in other words: accompanied driving, but before, you must do 20 hours in a driving school:

- Renault Clio II 1.9dti - diesel
- Renault Clio II 1.9dci - diesel
- Fiat Punto jtd - diesel (only for exam in 2003)
Don't ask me the HP, i really don't know but less is better for driving school in Paris area.

I've done my accompanied driving and the first 4 years in my grand mother's car, she never used it.

- 2001 Peugeot 206 1.1L 60HP - petrol (tremendous snail)

And now the cars i owned in chronological order.

- 1996 Renault Megane 1.6L 90HP - petrol (short period in 2007)
- 2007 Peugeot 307 1.6L HDI 110HP - diesel (2007 to 2010)
- 2010 Citroën DS3 1.6THP 155HP - petrol (2010 to 2012)
- 2003 Ford Focus Clipper 1.6L 100HP - petrol (2010 to 2011)
- 2007 Renault Megane II Estate 1.5L dci 105HP - diesel (2011 to 2012)

And since 2012 there is my cars.

- 2002 Toyota Celica TS 1.8L 192HP - petrol
- 2011 Mazda 6 2.2L 180HP - diesel

What i've tested:

- Citroën DS3R 1.6L 203HP - During a day on a circuit, more efficiency than my 155HP but kind of weird, less sensations.

I am not 18 (I am 15) yet (the cars are owned by my parents) :) They don't like cars so they don't buy expensive cars. We currently drive a 140 hp 1.8 litre 2006 Opel Vectra station with 40000km (buy) and an 1.4 litre (I believe 80 hp) 2004 Volkswagen Lupo (buy). Cars we've driven in the past:
-1997 Mitsubischi Carisma hatchback (buy) 140hp 1.8 litre
-1997 Honda Civic 5drs hatchback (lease) 1.6 litre
-1995 Nissan Almera hatchback (lease) ?
-1997 Peugeot 306 station (buy) ?
-2002 Smart Fortwo (buy) 54 hp 0.6 litre
-1994 Alfa Romeo 146 (lease) ?
-1999 Renault Laguna (for three weeks) (lease) ?
-2004 Peugeot 206 Station (test drive) ?
My parents maybe want to buy a 2004 Infiniti FX but I don't think they will. (280hp)

Although I am under age for driving (but not by that much), this summer I drove a 2003 Lada Niva 1.7 petrol manual for 5 metres! Of course, I don't think I helped the clutch...

Right now, we have a 2011 BMW X1 with a two litre diesel. In Australia, we had a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser. I do miss those two cars, especially the Toyota, when we sold it. I do regret selling it (even though technically it wasn't me).

My dream car would be a Nissan GTR, a Lexus LFA or a Tesla Model S.
Cheers,
