Polish letters in sii files

Hello Promods developers!

i would need some help to get write polish names in the sii files correctly.

You know in polish exist some special letters and therefore need a special code to be readable and implemented in ets2

See this example for the city Lodz:

	city_name: "Łódź"
	short_city_name: "Łódź"
	city_name_uppercase: "ŁÓDŹ"
	city_name_sort: "Lzodz"
}

can anyone of you put a list here which consists all the codes for these special letters in polish language?

What program do you use? The SII files are in UTF-8 text format. If you use ANSI, the game will crash...

That looks strange. I was creating Luboń and used "ń" in this file and it works like it should Just copy Łódź from Wikipedia.

There's always a Message with ANSI. i will take a look if there's a UTF-8 option.

Yes use Notepad++

Anyway you need to edit those files in UTF-8 mode or you will have issues.

What does the "city_name_sort" mean? Is it that important?
