Just upgraded to 1.2 Beta and want to inform everyone that Poland Rebuilding is incompatible. If running Promods + Poland + Rus Map (and the pro-pol-rus fix) you need to remove all Poland Rebuilding and also replace the "triple fix" from Rus Map with the Promods + Rus Map fix - without the change of fix it will CTD once Poland is removed.

ETS2 1.2 Beta looks pretty good with great updates. Hope this helps the community.

ProMods also told on their facebook page that ProMods alone is not compatible with 1.20 and they will wait until official release of 1.20

Oh for crying out loud! Beta versions of ETS2 are almost never compatible with existing maps. Why are so many surprised?

During the open betas, they (Steam/SCS) constantly change and advance versions. If there are bugs/glitches reported on the Steam discussion board, the SCS developers can fix them immediately/ASAP; therefore, SCS releases only a stable official version to the general public.

Are you trying to teach grandpa how to suck eggs?

Frankly, "Open Beta Testers" who run anything except a pure vanilla version of the map are pretty much worthless for testing and reporting purposes, since the majority of things they report are due to incompatible mods, making them "Chicken Little" reports...

We see this many times everyday here where folks report problems that have absolutely nothing to do with ProMods at all, but are caused by other incompatible and/or obsolete mods they have crammed into their ..\mod folder. :?

No need for the indignation or exasperation.

This thread in "off-topic" was simply meant to inform those less savvy with modding of a problem when using the steam auto beta updating system. It was not meant to be a dissertation on the proper etiquette of beta testing new games.
Most people will get the update automatically and wonder why their games are CTD.

New Promods 1.97 and Poland Rebuilding 1.97 are currently available.
